Kuroi Kao Akitas has been around since 1976. We started out owner/handling our own dogs and even putting CD's on them until our veterinary practice started growing too big for us to be away. We have had several dogs ranked in the top 5. We have bred, owned and made many Register Of Merit "ROM"s, (sire produces 10 champion get, dam produces 5). We have bred and owned multiple Best in Show "BIS" & Specialty "BISS" winning Akita dogs.
Each Akita puppy that is bred at Kuroi Kao Akitas is fully guaranteed,
whether he is going to be someone's beloved family companion or become the top dog in the country. Extended pedigrees and pictures of puppies will be sent out on request. Our family companions start at $2,000 plus shipping with a required spay/neuter contract, where show/breeding puppies start at $2,500.
